What I'm focused on now

A periodically updated look at what I'm building, learning, and improving.

Building

Planning an income tracking platform

I'm currently planning a platform that could simplify how I track my income. I'm exploring everything from the interface and user experience to the services it may need, with the goal of understanding my spending patterns and seeing how much I could potentially save.

Client projects at Aquip.io

I'm currently building and improving confidential client platforms as a developer at Aquip.io—leading discovery, streamlining operational workflows, and taking responsibility for quality, releases, and the experience people use every day.

A personal brand with substance

I'm rebuilding this website to share more than finished projects. I want to document the problems I encounter, the decisions I make, and the lessons that may help other builders along the way.

Learning

Client discovery and consulting

I'm improving how I uncover the real problem behind a request, ask better questions, manage expectations, and recommend practical next steps. Good software starts with listening carefully and making sure the right problem is being solved.

Content creation

I'm learning to turn technical work and personal experience into useful stories—not just announcements. My focus is on sharing problems, decisions, experiments, mistakes, and lessons with enough context to help someone else.

Video storytelling

I'm returning to video with more attention to scripting, sound, pacing, and visual intention. I want to combine software, visual art, and editing to explain ideas in a way that feels clear and human.

Product design

As I plan the platform, I'm studying how thoughtful product design could help me understand my income, spending, and savings without making money management feel overwhelming.

Practicing

Portrait drawing

I'm continuing to study light, form, and grayscale. Drawing reminds me to slow down, observe what is actually there, and improve through repetition—the same habits that often help me solve problems in software.

Fitness and consistency

Training at the gym remains part of how I practice discipline and long-term thinking. Progress is rarely dramatic from one day to the next; it becomes visible through small efforts repeated consistently.

Better financial habits

I'm improving my own relationship with money by paying closer attention to where each paycheck goes, saving more intentionally, and learning how financial clarity can create a greater sense of control.
